Who Could Do Such a Thing ???

I can't believe the cruelty of some people.....I live just outside of town in the country......with few neighbors. Yesterday, early morning, two ladies who were out taking their morning walk, knocked on my door........ In their hands was the sweetest, precious little puppy..... They asked, "Is he yours?".........."No"............"We found him in the middle of the road in front of your house".
"Are you kidding me!" "Who would dump a tiny baby out here?"

I hate to say it, but I'm discovering that it is common practice around here for people to dispose of their pets...dogs, cats, kittens and puppies....in the country!! I can not believe that they have such little regard for these precious beings!! Not caring what happens to them, how they will survive or if they will be the next meal for a wild animal!!

Who could do such a thing!!!!

Look at this precious little face. He is about 5-6 weeks old! Not even close to being big enough to be without his mommy!!!

Look at how tiny he is.......

Absolutely heartbreaking.....that someone could do this

He is such a little love bug too. His tail continuously is wagging.

I wish I knew who did this, I can't tell you what I would do to them!

He is just the sweetest little darling!
Until Later,
Toni ♥

  1. He is precious-thank goodness he found you! My dog was abused before we got him, every once in awhile you can tell that he still has some issues with it. He is the sweetest, most well behaved dog I have ever known and I can't imagine life without him now! Good luck with that adorable little guy!

  9. Oh he is so sweet! I can smell that sweet puppy breath now.

My mom lives in the country and has a continuous stream of dogs and cats. It's just unbelievable to me that someone would do that. Then on the other hand, the best pets we've ever had were rescued or found.

  13. We are from the country too...It's soo hard to see careless behavior! I'll try to be more positive on the off chance. I wonder if the mama, went off with her pups and this one got lost with the shuffle. Our dogs and cats on the farm (when I was a child) would move their young around and sometimes not so stratigically! But sadly that sweet thing was dumped! just sad!

  14. He is adorable!! It saddens me that people could drop animals off as if they are trash. I am grateful he found himself in front of your door though. Will you be keeping him? ;)

  15. He is just adorable! Im glad he is safe with you now! My husband just brought home a tiny kitten that someone dumped at the park where there are lots of coyotes. It took him 2 days to catch little "Scout". The poor thing was so frightened and was hiding where my husband couldnt reach. Finally he lured him out. A happy ending:)
    Hugs.

  16. My aunt lives in the country in Ohio and has the same problems! Just last week someone put a dog out to fend for itself in her area. It makes me sick that such heartless beings exist. Thank goodness he was led to you.

  17. It makes me so mad and breaks my heart that their are people in this world that are so crule that they could do this to these sweet innocent precious animals. I rescued 13 in one year, all of them were dogs with the exception of four kittens, 2 of which did not make it because they had been so starved!!! I wish there was more that could be done to people like this, it's just hard catching them in the act. Anyway I could go on and on about this subject!!! Oh and this is my first time to visit your blog, I was scrolling thru someone else's blog and seen that sweet baby's face and had to check it out, he is just precious!!! Blessings~~~ Daphne

  19. It's sad that there are such cruel people in this world.

My daughter and I are constantly dragging homeless animals home, much to my husband's dismay of course! LOL

What are you plans? Will you keep him or try to find him a home?

    Take care!

  21. Oh My Gosh, that little guy is sooo adorable:) We just had to put our almost 19 (Nov)year old sheppard mix to sleep.. She was a rescue all those years ago and the joy Poo Bear brought us are memories forever. my daughter was just 8 when we got her and they were best friends, when she went away to school Poo became my shadow. We have pics of her dressed as the Easter bunny, Santa, Hula girl and many other dress ups.. she always sat very still to have her nails painted:) Enjoy your new friend!! I love all your beautiful pics..

  22. this happens to us quite often with cats - at least those people know that us country folks will take care of living things!

  24. That is just a crime. We got a new puppy a few months ago. She was a rescue ...it's hard to believe people can simply dump them. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
