Wild, Wacky Weather

So I thought we finally had a "summer" day. I woke up to blue skies, the temperature reached 100 was great!! I was so happy that we finally had summer....not so much for the 100 temp.....but happy that there would be no more grey skies.

Well....that all changed at about 7 o'clock tonight. I thought I would share some photos I took outside my house just a couple of minutes ago.

Here is the western sky, sun is setting, see all of those big dark clouds???

another shot of the dark thunder clouds.......

This is directly above our house.......

And a look at the eastern sky.........

Dark clouds, thunderstorms & lightening to the west.......Sunshine and rainbows to the east.......only in Idaho.......
The locals say if you don't like the weather......just wait a will change!

Right now the wind is blowing so hard.....I feel like I'm Dorothy in Kansas....Auntie Em, Toto where are you?? I love living in Idaho, but I'm a Cali girl who needs her sunshine!
Until later,
♥ Toni

  1. Sounds like Texas...including the 100 degrees! Great photos especially of the rainbow.

  2. They say that about Ohio weather too! It's always changing! Beautiful photos of the storm clouds and rainbows!~Hugs, Patti

  3. Great photos - especially like the one of the rainbow. They say the same about the weather here. I don't care for the "fireworks" that tag along with the rain.

  4. Those are just incredible pictures of the changing sky. Even the ominous ones have their beauty...nice job!

  5. Great photos. I especially like the rainbow but there certainly is beauty in the storm as well. Thanks for sharing.

  6. hi toni! thanks for stopping by the farm today!! and your sweat comment!!!

  7. I'm a Cali girl took me 13 years to say this is "home"(Idaho)....but I still miss it not being a big deal to forget your jacket, and wearing flip flops all year long.

I am enjoying your blog!I got here from Meridian Road.

My door is always open & I hope you will come by often to visit, maybe have a cup of coffee or tea with me. ~Hugs, Toni~
