Vintage Scores Galore!!

Oh my gosh!! I have been away from blogging for toooooo long! I have missed all of you! I have so many things to share with all of you. . . .but first I want to participate in Rhoda's Today's Thrifty Treasures!!

And boy do I have some THRIFTY TREASURES to share with you all :)

I went to a few yard sales this weekend that were all a bust! Not one tiny little treasure was to be found! I was so disappointed. Then my sweet friend introduced me to a couple of people that have mountains of treasures!! I was in heaven!! Or what I hope heaven to look like for a treasure hunter like myself :)

The first piece is one that I have been lusting for since I first had a glimpse of one in a magazine. I know I still have the torn out page around here somewhere. Then I was over visiting at Lulu's and she had just bought one and she said hers had her dancing!!! I wanted one too!!! So I was on a hunt, I was determined!! I was going to find one and at a great price!!!

Just look at this sweet little beauty!!

Isn't she the sweetest you have ever seen!!!! And what a deal I got on her! WOO HOO!!

Next is a little lady who made my heart go pitter patter!!! She is completely adjustable all the way around, even her skirt!!! And the price was fantastic!! How could I say no?!?! She had to come home with me.

A close up. Wouldn't you just love to have a tiny waist like that! And, she is in great shape for her age!!!

I have been looking for a table and chairs for my backyard patio. I haven't found the table yet but I did get four of these chairs. I will be making new seats for all of them.

Here is a footboard, that was free, I will be making into a cottage sign for my house. The headboard is being made into a sweet little bench. (I'll have pictures of that in a later post).

I am so excited about the sweet treasures I found this week!! I'm doing the Happy Dance!
Until Later,
~Toni~

  7. Love that bathtub! I seen one of those on another blog with geraniums planted in it but I can't remember which one! Years ago my next door neighbor got rid of 4 of those white garden chairs and for years I had one of them in my garden with flowers on the seat but when I moved I gave it to another neighbor. I want to see what you do with that headboard! That is going to look fantastic!

  9. Toni, You found some great treasures, too! So what are you gonna do with the bathtub? I would love to find some sort of dress form, but they are all so overpriced when I do see one. Post your sign when you finish!

I absolutely love that little tub, and I can just see all kinds of flowers tumbling out of it, and I've been looking for a footboard to make a sign for my garden! Those chairs are so sweet too, and I know there's alot of ladies who would love to have that dressform. Have you named her yet?!
